If students do not meet the English proficiency requirement, we would be very happy to have them join our ESL classes at the American Language Institute (ALI). We also have a Bridge option. This allows students to take part-time ESL classes and one to two undergraduate classes. For students coming the full year who start in ESL or bridge coursework, we will offer a testing code for them to take the Duolingo English Test in December. If they earn a qualifying score, they can transition to Bridge or full-time undergraduate coursework for the second semester.
